Let the games begin

Can we just talk about how great it is to be surrounded by incredible artists? People who work their butts off using repetition, color theory, and historic symbolism to make a collection of visual symphonies…aw, so good to be back at school — my heart soars.

And I’m going to let you in on a little secret: for my gallery show I’m throwing out wood, i’m throwing out paper, and I’m DEFINITELY throwing out canvas (that stuff can be god awful). However, there will be walls of beautiful, beautiful clay crying out to be touched and admired. I’m already tired and its so soon in the semester but I can tell you right now, this is already the most exciting year by far.
